Early Life
Jamaal M. Kennedy, professionally known as Rejuvenated Observant Wise or Rowstacks, was born in New York City. He began writing music at the age of ten and recording in his early teens. Inspired by his uncle Doug E. Fresh and brother Mansone Batez, he was drawn to hip-hop from a young age.
Career
Rowstacks rose through New York’s underground scene, catching attention for his performances and independently released singles. He signed with Cee-Lo Records and performed alongside legends such as Ja Rule, DMX, and Method Man. After leaving the label, he took time to refine his artistry and gain knowledge about the music business.
His breakout came with the mixtape Wild Style, produced by Marko, which sold over $250,000 and solidified his place in the industry.
In 2014, he met singer TJ Vida (Tara Gibson) and formed the duo Diverse Gravity. Their debut single, "Katz Jealous", released under DiggyDime Music Group, garnered critical acclaim and an expanding online fanbase. Their follow-up, "Vida’s Song", tackled domestic violence and elevated their status.
